After a detailed non-binding consultation in our specialist practice, digital photos, especially low-radiation 3-D X-rays, a manual TMJ examination and a contact-free, digital 3-D scan of your teeth will be created for another appointment. The conventional, often not so pleasant impression taking is now eliminated. These diagnostic documents are then carefully evaluated to conceptualize the therapeutic measures and serve as the basis for the written treatment planning for you and your health insurance. Based on the 3-D scan of your mouth, Dr. Drechsler then, before the start of treatment, the finished result of your new smile as a computer simulation. In doing so, he pays attention to the smallest details so that the teeth will end up in exactly the desired position from all aesthetic and functional points of view.

You will usually come to our Wiesbaden practice for a check-up every eight to twelve weeks. In the meantime, you can scan comfortably every week from home with your smartphone and your ScanBox of smart dental monitoring technology and know that the treatment is proceeding as planned and smoothly. This is ideal for all patients who are not close to their location, travel a lot, are time-bound or simply cannot visit the practice at certain times. Dr. Drechsler checks the progress of the tooth movement, checks the health of the gums and gums and uses the computer simulation to inform you about the status quo.
